Thanks For The Veto Governor Abbott

I don’t know why Governor Abbott chose to veto the hemp killing bill that would have made all hemp-based THC products illegal in Texas, nor can I explain the fear of THC among the majority of our legislators, but I am thankful for his action. It takes courage to stand against the majority and Greg Abbott deserves praise for his action.

Dan Patrick on the other hand wanted to resurrect the war against cannabis users after a brief time of relief because of legalized hemp following decades of persecution and prosecution. He even convinced the majority of our legislators, that was the right path for the future.

I believe the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness should be on the mind of all legislators. It should be self-evident that those rights are bestowed of us by our creator. I also believe that cannabis is one of the plants given to man in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3;29). I also believe decisions about my health and safety belong to me, not the government. So, for me the decision is easy. It’s a two-handed question. On one hand: life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and cannabis = good. And on the other hand: dictator = bad.

Sorry Dan Patrick I just call them as I see them.

May God bless us all with truth and justice
